14 Investigative Teams Created to Fight Organized Crime in Albania, Italy
Relations and cooperation between the Albanian Police and the Italian Police are at an intense stage.
This is evidenced by the high number of joint investigative groups between the two countries, for investigations that extend to the 2 neighboring countries, where 14 joint investigative groups have been set up to combat organized crime.
Interior Minister Taulant Balla, during the meeting he had with the Deputy General Director of the Italian State Police, Prefect Vittorio Rizzi, appreciated his contribution, precisely for this effectiveness.
"Cooperation with the Polizia di Stato and other Italian law enforcement agencies is at the highest and most efficient level. We have set up 14 joint investigative teams to combat organized crime, drug trafficking, cybercrime, financial crime, etc.," wrote Minister Balla on social networks, after the meeting held in Tirana.
