Eno Agasi Arrested Over Alleged Removal of Wine Collection Seized by SPAK

Eno Agasi, a relative of Ergys Agasi, has been arrested in Tirana over the alleged removal of a wine collection worth hundreds of thousands of euros that had been seized by Albania’s Special Prosecution Office (SPAK) as part of investigations into the AKSHI case.

Agasi was wanted by authorities in connection with the alleged removal of the collection and is suspected of theft and obstructing the discovery of the truth, according to the allegations under investigation.

Tirana police arrested Agasi in the Kodra e Diellit area while he was traveling in a vehicle, according to authorities.

The wine collection had reportedly been seized by SPAK during searches and investigative operations carried out as part of the probe into the National Agency of Information Society, known by its Albanian acronym, AKSHI.

The Tirana Court of First Instance has imposed a security measure of pretrial detention, ordering that Agasi be held in custody while the investigation proceeds.
