43-year-old Shot Dead Sister-in-law, Perpetrator Mother's Statement Revealed
New details have come to light this Monday regarding the serious event that took place in Shkoza area of Tirana on Saturday, where a 43-year-old man shot dead his sister-in-law while she was sleeping with her infant child.
In her statement, the mother of the perpetrator Roland Sinani revealed having entered the daughter-in-law's room and checked if she was still alive.
She also recalled in front of the investigators having rhetorically asked her son about what he had done.
"We entered the bride's room and saw whether or not there were signs of life, or whether the child was injured," the shooter's mother reportedly said to the police officers.
However, the incident happened around 04:00 in the morning in Shkoza, Tirana, while the 43-year-old allegedly suffered from mental health problems. Migena Sinani, 37 years old, and Roland Sinani, 43 years old, were the two victims.
In the last moments of her life, 37-year-old Migena Sinani was in bed sleeping with her two-year-old daughter. Migena was the mother of two minor children, a two-year-old daughter and a 4-year-old son.
They were asleep at 04:00 in the morning, when her brother-in-law shot her in bed. A bullet in the chest took his life, leaving behind two children. The boy was not in the apartment at the time of the crime, as he was with the family of the 37-year-old woman.
Meanwhile, the husband of the 37-year-old woman and the brother of the suspected perpetrator worked as a taxi driver and it is learned that he was not at home when the incident happened.
Following the murder, the police seized the firearm, a pistol, while today the two victims were escorted to the last apartment.
