Fifth phase of the anti-cannabis operation, codenamed "Kreshta te Pastra" has been carried out this Wednesday, resulting in the finding and destruction of 453 cannabis plants in the village of Madhesh, Mat area. 

After the finding, Police identified and declared wanted two brothers as suspected perpetrators for the cultivation of these narcotic plants. 

On the other hand, headman of the village and the forest service inspector were criminally prosecuted for abuse of office. 

Meanwhile, the procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction in Dibra for further actions. 

"Services of the Mat Police Station, following the checks carried out from the ground and from the air, with Police drones, based on police intelligence, have finalized the 5th phase of the police operation coded "Clean Ridges", where have found in the village of Madhesh, 453 suspected cannabis sativa narcotic seedlings, which were destroyed by burning. 

By carrying out the investigative actions, the specialists for the Investigation of Crimes of the Mat Police Station, made it possible to identify and announce the wanted authors of this case of cultivation, namely the citizen, 58 years old; , 52 years old, (brothers), resident in the village of Madhesh. The work for their capture continues. 

Also, for this case, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceedings began in a free state, for the criminal offense "Abuse of duty", for the citizens, 64 years old, headman of the village of Madhesh and, 47 years old, Inspector of the forest service in this area.
