Acting chairman of Democratic Party (DP), Enkelejd Alibeaj has declared this Friday that he is being protected  by Republican Guard only to respect the law, but he denied being afraid of anything. 

Following the meeting with the parliamentary group and steering committee, Alibeaj responded to journalists' interest about the protection, clarifying that this is an obligation before the elections.

Question: Mr. Alibeaj, we have not seen you accompanied by the Republican Guard employees before, why did you bring them back today? 

Alibeaj: I never wanted to takethem, but it is an obligation. You have be accompanied in election situations. I find it difficult to be accompanied, I walk alone, but even the laws of the state must be respected! 

Question: Do you feel threatened? 

Alibeaj: Never, never!
