"Our capacities have already been built and are ready at the right moment to be put into operation. The growing number of cases of infections and of course the growing number of cases in hospitals, now that the Covid3 hospital is fully open with all the facilities waiting for the treatment and service of citizens, the Covid4 hospital will also be put in place very soon for patients to receive the treatment for Covid19, after the depletion of the capacities of 3 COVID hospitals,” said Manastirliu.

The Minister of Health stated that even regional hospitals are also being prepared to tackle the pandemic situation.

"This is not an easy period, which is being accompanied by an increase in the number of cases, so the availability of new facilities and preparation for the opening of the COVID4 hospital comes as a response to facing the situation,” said Manastirliu.

Dr. Daniela Nika, deputy director of QSUT, a structure which will also administer the COVID4 hospital, said that the new structure has all the equipment to serve patients.

Manastirliu called on all citizens, seeking cooperation, for the common goal of preserving health.
