Transparency Board has decided Wednesday to set new diesel price, lowering it to 249 ALL/liter, from 255 ALL per liter that it was one day ago. 

In line with this decision, petrol will be sold for for 242 ALL and gas for 83 ALL per liter on retail gas stations. Prices set by the Board will take effect this June 29 and will be valid until the next board meeting, which will reflect changes in selling prices. 

Nevertheless, these figures have been set at a time when the price of fuel in international markets has decreased sharply in recent days, but in Albania it is reflected little or not at all.

"The Transparency Board on June 28, 2022, in its next meeting decided: 

-Retail price of gasoil by-product of standard SSH EN 590 to be 249 ALL / liter, while wholesale price 237 ALL / liter. 

-The retail price of the gasoline by-product of the SSH EN standard to be 242 ALL / liter, while the wholesale price should be 230 ALL / liter. 

-The retail price of the gas by-product to be 83 ALL / liter at retail and the wholesale price 71 ALL / liter for vehicles. 

(Note: the selling price for vehicle liquefied petroleum gas will be the supply price at gas stations at gas stations, while at other points for household and industrial customers the price should not include excise). 

Prices set by the Board will take effect today June 28 at 18.00 p.m and will be valid until the next board meeting which will reflect changes in selling prices. 

-We draw the attention of every wholesaler and retailer of petroleum by-products to the obligation to implement this decision. 

-In case of violations found by various operators, the activity will be suspended", it is stated in the announcement.
