Albania’s Transparency Board Lowers Fuel Prices
On April 9, 2026, during its latest meeting, the Transparency Board of Albania reduced the price of diesel and gasoline once again. The retail price of diesel has been lowered to 210 ALL per liter, down from 2020 ALL per liter.
Gasoline prices also decreased, with the retail price dropping from 181 ALL per liter yesterday to 173 ALL per liter today.
The prices set by the Board will take effect today, April 9, at 14:30 and will remain valid until the next Board meeting, when any further price adjustments will be announced.
Detailed Price Decisions:
- Diesel (SSH EN 590 standard):
- Retail: maximum 210 ALL/liter
- Wholesale: maximum 198 ALL/liter
- Gasoline (SSH EN standard):
- Retail: maximum 173 ALL/liter
- Wholesale: maximum 161 ALL/liter
The Board reminds all wholesale and retail fuel operators of their obligation to comply with this decision. Any violations may result in suspension of activity.
The Ministry of Economy and Innovation, together with the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy, remain committed to protecting consumer interests and ensuring fair competition in the market.
