Leart Paqarada will be part of Koln in the Bundesliga from next season. 

The footballer of the representative of Kosovo who is currently part of St. Pauli in Bundesliga 2, has signed a three-year contract with Koln. 

This move of Koln in the transfer window comes from the fact that at the end of this season captain Jonas Hector will retire from football and Paqarada, who is considered one of the most outstanding left defenders in Bundesliga 2, has been selected by the leaders of the Germans to replace the 32-year-old. 

Paqarada has a career built in Germany as the 28-year-old started with the youth of Werder Bremen and then moved to the youth of Leverkusen and then Sandhausen. However, the biggest career step for the player from Kosovo is now coming as Koln is currently ranked 13th with 17 points and is expected to fight to the end for staying in the elite.
