Albanian Who Shot Three Youths in Athens Wanted by Greece
Greek prosecution has issued a European arrest warrant for the Albanian who injured three young Greeks in Gazi, Athens.
According to the Greek authorities, 37-year-old Nardi Ismet Idrizi shot a pistol and seriously injured a group of young people after a banal fight outside a bar. Earlier, the police also arrested his friend Emiliano Jakupi, 33 years old, who was present in the vehicle and was precisely the cause that started the fight between the two parties.
The 37-year-old with a serious criminal record continues to hide and tries to avoid the police, who continue to check the places and areas where he has gone in recent months.
According to the Greek media, Nardi Ismet Idrizi is trying to find a way to leave Greece and go either to Turkey or Malta. The police have reported that the wanted person turned to night clubs for help. However, so far it seems that he has not succeeded, as the police believe that they will soon track him down and bring him to justice.
The police services in all critical areas of the country have been notified, in order to be vigilant in case of locating the 38-year-old, who is considered particularly dangerous, as he has a "serious" precedent.
The 37-year-old author of the shootings in Gazi is the head of a criminal gang in Albania, involved in an armed robbery at a gas station in Vlora, robberies in casinos and banks.
In 2012, he was arrested after an armed robbery at a gas station in Vlora, during which he opened fire with a Kalashnikov at the police. He then hid in a friend's house until he was arrested. What betrayed Idrizi was the fact that he had removed the hood he was wearing after the robbery and his identity was revealed by the security cameras.
A year later, he was sentenced to 13 years in prison. He was held in the Fier prison and in 2020 he was released early, where the release caused a great stir in our country, as 18 prison officials were accused of helping to release him.
The 37-year-old had settled in Greece only in recent months, where he became part of a gang in the area of Agios Pavlos. He frequented a shop there. The author's relative, who belonged to this group, was previously accused of theft and shooting.
It is learned that in 1998, his brother was executed by a rival gang and since then the 37-year-old has been going around with the identity of his dead brother.
