Albanians in Ukraine Unafraid of Conflict with Russia

Citizens of Albanian living in Ukraine are not afraid of the possible armed conflict of this country with Russia, has declared Thursday the Head of "Union of Albanians of Ukraine" Association, Aleksandër Dermentli, who resides there.

On a live interview, Dermentli revealed that 5.000 Albanians live in Ukraine as he pointed out that the situation seems good, and that the alleged conflict seems to have been a ‘cold war’ between the US and Russia.

Furthermore, the Head of “Union of Albanians of Ukraine" has said that the Albanians live far from the conflict area, near the border with Moldavia, a historical region and former principality in Central and Eastern Europe, famous for its beautiful women.

"We are 5.000 Albanians in Ukraine. The situation was good, it was information war, cold war from Russia and USA. We are not afraid, even though we are very far from the conflict zone. We are about a thousand miles away from the conflict zone. We are close to the border with Moldova", pronounced Dermentli.

When asked if the Ukrainians themselves are afraid of a possible war with Russia, he stressed that the Ukrainian army is ready for anything, while also having the support of the US and NATO.

"The Ukrainian military is ready, they are very well trained. Ukrainians are not afraid of war. The army is ready, the US and NATO are also nearby. Ukraine is not alone", added the Albanian, Dermentli.
