Minister of Interior, Taulant Balla is paying an official visit to Germany.

During his stay, he was welcomed by his German counterpart, Nancy Faeser with whom he discussed over further collaboration in the war against organized crime, cybercrime and illegal migration. 

Balla commented even the presence of Albania in the European Championship evaluating the behaviour of the Albanian fans and the role of the police officers.

"Albania and Germany have excellent cooperation between the police of our two countries, in joint operations, but also within Interpol, Europol, etc., in the fight against organized crime, cybercrimes and illegal migration.

Gratitude to the Government and the Federal Police for the support provided to the criminal police and the RENEA forces. Thanks to the German support, the State Police will have a modern and secure internal communication service. The presence of Albania in the European Championship, the exemplary and impressive behaviour of the Albanian fans and the participation of the Albanian police alongside their German colleagues in guaranteeing security during the European Championship are part of the conversation," said Balla.
