Balla-Kryemadhi Debate over Minister's Name

The head of the Socialist Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, replied during the plenary session this Thursday with the chairwoman of the Socialist Movement for Integration (SMI), Monika Kryemadhi. The cause was the lapsus that the latter made to the surname of the Minister of State for Youth and Children, Bora Muzhaqi, from Muzhaqi to Buzhaqi.

Balla asked the parliamentarians not to play with surnames, because everyone is proud of the surname they bear.

"Dear Monica, I believe we understand each other because we are old colleagues. Muzhaqi is a great surname and I wish Bora as a young girl to justify the surname she bears. I would ask no one in this room to play, or misinterpret names.

I believe it was a small misunderstanding. As for Muzhaqi, it comes from Muzaka, a large tribe that has fought for this country. But the tribe where Bora comes from has suffered a lot from the dictatorship as well, from Nezir Muzhaqi who was hanged in the 45th and so on", said Balla.

Monika Kryemadhi on the other hand responded with irony, saying that government ministers do not need nannies and can defend themselves as they are trusted by the people with incinerator money.

"I understand Mr. Balla very well, but the government of our Skanderbeg, Edi Rama, has no right to be a nanny, but whoever is a minister manages his own work and leads it to the end. They are ministers because they received the vote of confidence of the parliament, they received the vote of confidence of the citizens who voted for them, who gave their votes unanimously with the money of the incinerators", said Kryemadhi.

We recall that after confusing the surname, the chairwoman of the Socialist Movement apologized..
