Berisha Condemns Violent Acts of Srebrenica Massacre

Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha has commemorated the 27th anniversary of the Srebrenica massacre through a status on social networks. He adds that he strongly condemns the barbaric act of the forces that committed this crime and condemns the current stance of the president of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic.

Berisha writes that 27 years ago the Bosnian Serb military forces killed 8,000 children, men and women just because they belonged to an ethnic group and a religious belief different from theirs.

"Today is the day of honouring the victims of Srebrenica!

Dear friends, today is the day of honouring the victims of barbarism, the Serbian genocide in Srebrenica. 27 years ago, the military forces and militia of Bosnian Serbs, together with paramilitary and police units from Serbia, under the command of the famous general Ratko Mladic, killed, massacred, in the most terrible genocide after the Second World War in Europe, 8 thousands of children, women, men, Bosnian Muslims only because they belonged to another ethnicity and faith.

Expressing the deepest respect for the victims of the Serbian genocide in Srebrenica, I strongly condemn the macabre act of the forces that committed this terrible barbarity.

I also condemn the current stance of the President of Serbia Vu?i?, who with his call "for every Serb killed, 100 Muslim women will be killed" is also a main inspirer of the Srebrenica genocide, whose country is in the bank of accusations in the International Court at The Hague," Berisha wrote.
