Budapest, 5 May 2022
Dear Mr. President,
I would like to express my gratitude for your congratulations after our victory in the parliamentary elections in Hungary.
I am proud that Hungarian citizens have expressed their belief in an independent government based on national values ??and have honoured us with their belief for the fifth time already. I believe that this strong mandate is not only a guarantee for the political stability and economic development of Hungary, but it is also a courageous stand for the peace and security of our country.
It was an honour to meet you in Budapest in 2014 and to exchange views on issues that determined the fate of our countries. I really appreciate the open and sincere friendship you have shown towards Hungary and the Hungarian people for many years now. I assure you that we will remain committed to defending our common Christian-conservative values ??and also to developing the Albanian-Hungarian relations in the future.
I wish you health and much success in your tasks with high responsibilities.
Yours sincerely,
Viktor Orban
