Berisha's Candidate for Vora Municipality Introduced

The Prime Minister, Sali Berisha, was present this Thursday in an electoral meeting with the Democrats of Vora, where he introduced the candidate Lulzim Vrana, who is running for mayor in the by-elections on March 6.

Berisha said that during the last years of government, no investment had been made for Vora in infrastructure or in the development of the welfare of the inhabitants of this area. Among other things, Berisha expressed his conviction that after March 6, Lulzim Vrana would be elected head of the municipality of Vora and added that Albania had all the conditions for no one to suffer from extreme poverty.

"More than anything else, your family budgets were reduced, your income, your situation was rolled. Your opportunities to cope with life. Today, after 8 years, instead of poverty going to a progressive reduction, instead of the families here in Vora being helped by the municipality as before, instead of salaries and pensions having increased, all these have gone in the opposite direction.

Investments here in the municipality of Vora have decreased, there have been no investments in infrastructure, roads, sewers and farmers. I guarantee you that we have every condition and opportunity for no Albanian to recognize extreme poverty." Berisha said.
