Cakaj Reveals Details from Economic and Environmental Forum
Acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Gent Cakaj participated in the annual Meeting of the Economic and Environmental Forum, which is taking place in Prague.
The focus of this meeting was the importance of using new technologies and digital platforms in the fight against organized crime and corruption.
"Promoting security, stability and economic development through the fight against corruption is one of the basic priorities of the Albanian Presidency of the OSCE," Cakaj said in his social network regarding his participation in the forum.
Also, Chief Diplomat Cakaj informed that the ways of maintaining privacy and cyber security, the fight against fraud in financial systems, the use of technology in the service of public accountability and institutional transparency are among the main issues being discussed by experts in the field and top representatives of the participating countries.
"Albania, having taking over next OSCE Chairmanship, is fulfilling its task of promoting cooperation between the participating countries in order to efficiently use anti-corruption technology," Cakaj concluded.
