The Central Election Commission, Ilirjan Celibashi, appointed a coordinator in any voting center nationwide in Albania.

This person will monitor any center in order to identify any possible threat against free and fair elections. 

Coordinators will continuously monitor the external areas of the polling station, including courtyards, entrances and a 150-meter perimeter.

The order adopted today addresses concerns raised by OSCE-ODIHR, civil society organizations and the media in past elections, regarding the presence of unauthorized persons near polling stations on election day.
