The Minister of Interior, Sander Lleshaj, in the framework of the fight against cannabis, held a closed-door meeting this Monday afternoon in Berat.

He met with senior police leaders in Berat where he pointed out problems with the phenomenon of drug cultivation in Skrapar.

According to him, the Skrapar area remains problematic and has reprimanded the police officers who have been involved in the illegal activity.

“We will hit those officers involved in the criminal activity of drug cultivation with well-organized structures,” said Lleshaj.

In the end, Lleshaj called on the citizens of Berat to respect the measures against COVID-19 and to protect themselves.
