Constitutional Court of Albania has decided to require the opinion of the Venice Commission on the local elections of June 30, 2019. These elections were totally boycotted by the opposition that still do not recognises their results. 

After 11 hours of discussions  this court decided to requires assistance by Venice if the elections were legal or not. 

Was the Shkodra Mayor in the name of the municipalities association who required months ago by this Court to give a decision on the last local elections as they were not decreed by the Head of State and were boycotted by the opposition.
