Court Decides, Albanian Businessman to Be Extradited to Spain
The Tirana court has imposed the measure of arrest in prison for the purpose of extradition to Spain, the tile businessman Nikolin Janina.
The court has sentenced the businessman to 40 days in prison, until the file is received by the Spanish authorities against the 56-year-old. Janina was declared internationally wanted after judicial authorities there issued international arrest warrants for the criminal offense of "drug trafficking".
Referring to the investigations of the Spanish authorities, it is suspected that Janina trafficked heroin, morphine and opium in EU countries. It is suspected that the 56-year-old led a criminal group, this Spanish police and prosecution, has seized a quantity of 53 kg and 380 grams of heroin of this group. Recall that the 56-year-old was under the focus of investigations in November 2017 for his wealth from the former Serious Crimes Office.
