President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj has convened on Tuesday the meeting of the National Security Council within the framework of the strengthening of protective measures against cyber threats, as announced this Monday.

This meeting aims to make an analysis of the current state of cyber security, the challenges and threats facing Albania in this regard.

During the gathering, responsible institutions will inform the National Security Council about the measures taken to strengthen cyber defense in implementation of the recommendations given by the meeting of the National Security Council, in the months of October 2022 and January 2023.

"President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj based on point 3 of Article 168 of the Constitution of the Republic of Albania and Article 10 of Law 64/2014 "On the powers and authorities of strategic direction and command of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Albania" (of amended), decided the meeting of the National Security Council, on June 13, 2023 at 12:00, in the hall of the National Security Council, in the Institution of the President of the Republic, on the subject:

"The state of cyber security and the measures taken to strengthen cyber defense in the Republic of Albania"

The convocation of the meeting of the National Security Council aims to analyze the current state of cyber security, the challenges and threats we face in this regard. The responsible institutions will inform the National Security Council about the measures taken to strengthen cyber defense in implementation of the recommendations given by the meeting of the National Security Council, in the months of October 2022 and January 2023.
