Day 51 of Protests Held as Demonstrators Continue Anti-Government Rally

Protesters gathered in Albania's capital on Monday for the 51st consecutive day of demonstrations, continuing their anti-government campaign with rallies in central Tirana.

As on previous days, demonstrators assembled at Skanderbeg Square before marching to the Prime Minister's Office, where speakers addressed the crowd and reiterated their demands.

During the gathering, one protester reminded participants that demonstrators also plan to assemble outside the Albanian Parliament on Thursday, when the next plenary session is scheduled to take place.

Earlier in the day, several protesters were present outside Parliament as lawmakers convened for a plenary session. While organizers had announced the demonstration would remain peaceful, some participants threw eggs bearing the names of lawmakers at vehicles belonging to the Parliamentary Guard and members of parliament. No immediate reports of injuries were available.
