A dead body was found this Monday in the village of Orizaj, Berat, in the waters of the Osum River. According to police sources, it is about a 32-year-old man with the initials J.M. 

It is learned that no signs of violence have been found, while the police are working to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident. 

"On 16.01.2023, around 15:00 in the village of Orizaj, Berat, in the waters of the Osum River, citizen J.M., 32 years old, resident of Berat, was found drowned. 

For citizen J.M., this morning, his family members filed a police report, where they stated that on 15.01.2023, citizen J.M. left the apartment. 

The dead body of the 32-year-old was taken out of the water and will be sent to the Berat hospital morgue for further examinations. From the preliminary examination of the victim's body, no signs of violence were found. 

The investigative team is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the event. The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Berat Court of First Instance, for further action.
