Dhermi, Two Beach Bar Owners Punished for Acoustic Pollution
Two beach bars' owners have been criminally prosecuted in Dhërmi after being accused of noise pollution.
According to the police, from the monitoring carried out for the prevention of noise pollution, with the aim of guaranteeing peace for vacationers, 2 owners of these entities have been criminally prosecuted for disturbing the public peace.
Services of Dhërmi and Himarë Police Station, yesterday evening, around 10:00 p.m., while patrolling in Dhërmi, received calls from vacationers complaining about the very loud music that had become a great concern for them.
After the complaints, the Police services identified the two beach bars, in which very loud music was being generated.
Following the procedural actions, the devices that generated music in these entities were seized and criminal proceedings were initiated against their 2 owners, for the criminal offense of "Disturbing the public peace".
