The General Director of the State Police, Chief Madhor Muhamet Rrumbullaku, has congratulated, through a telegram, the Police employees throughout the country, on the 110th anniversary of the creation of the State Police.

Through this telegram, the General Director expressed his gratitude for the commitment and sacrifice of the State Police employees, offered them support and encouraged them to continue their work to guarantee public safety and protect the lives of citizens.

Among other things, Rrumbullaku also wrote about the image of the State Police that looks from the outside as comfortable, the same as the employees of the administration, but he emphasizes that only they know the weight of the sacrifice.

Dear colleagues,

Today, I have the greatest privilege and honor of my life, as the Director General of the State Police, to wish you the 110th anniversary of the State Police.

I am deeply grateful to you as a colleague, as a family member, as a friend, as a citizen and as the owner of this institution, for your daily work, commitment and sacrifice, in the service of the citizens of the Republic of Albania and in the function of the sacred mission of the Police of State.

Heartfelt appreciation and gratitude also to your families who share with us the concerns and triumphs, who do not complain about the physical and time deprivations that work as a State Police employee brings, but stay by our side and support us, to accomplish our mission, as difficult as it is noble.

From the outside, the image of a police officer is as comfortable as the image of an administrative worker, but no one better than us, engaged in any structure and at any level, knows the weight of sacrifice, long working hours, of professional challenges, of fatigue and courage, of occasions and events, of uniform and service weapon.

I assure you that we are together in every challenge; to celebrate as a family, every achievement; to reflect after every defeat; to persistently seek the best for us and to exclude from our ranks, anyone who tries to confuse us, harm our efforts and shake the foundations of trust that we built with great difficulty among the citizens.

In my professional philosophy, but also in that of life, authority is synonymous only with respect, not arrogance, not prepotence, and this is exactly the high goal of my work, to manage to justify your support and respect, since this is the only way we can be aware of the weight of the rank on our shoulders and only thus, can we look each other in the eye today, when the career trajectory of each of us is like this, and tomorrow, when this trajectory has changed.

There is one and only one way to have the support of the honest citizens of the Republic of Albania, who have decided to live and prosper in this country, and this way is the one guided by the light of dedication, sacrifice, professional integrity and to the moral one. These are the qualities that underpin confidence and build success.

I encourage you to give your best in the service of the citizens and I guarantee you that you will have my unconditional support, as the Director General of the State Police, in any confrontation with crime, to enforce the law, and in any case when you may be unfairly confronted.
