DP Decries Elbasan Is Center of Heroin Exchange with Rama in Charge

Elbasan and Albania is the center of east-west opium and heroin exchange with Prime Minister Edi Rama and Head of Socialist Party (SP) Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla in charge of the government, denounced Monday the Secretary General of the Democratic Party (DP), Gazmend Bardhi.

For his allegations, the Democrat referred to a report published today by the "Global Initiative Against International Organized Crime" Network on the flow of immigrants, drugs and dirty money in the Western Balkans.

The report said, among other things, that "the Western Balkans is a crossroads of organized crime, drugs, asylum seekers and money laundering." Referring to this, Bardhi emphasizes that unfortunately Elbasan and Albania remain at a crossroads with votes bought by organized crime.

"With Taulant Balla with votes bought from organized crime and with Edi Rama in charge, unfortunately Elbasan and Albania remain at a crossroads.

Elbasan is considered a key center of east-west exchanges of opium and heroin, according to the report of the Global Initiative Against International Organized Crime.

The battle for elections and democracy is worth it. The fight against crime and crime-related politicians is worth it. The battle is done for the citizens and for the country", noted Bardhi on the social networks.
