Dumani Comments Possible Changes in the Justice Reform

The Head of the Special Prosecution against Corruption (SPAK) Altin Dumani, said that it is unthinkable to make changes in the judicial reform, while the reform is still going on.

Commenting the debates that the ruling majority is trying to control SPAK through new changes, Dumani said that he do not believe this, considering the debate as rumors.

"This will not happen and is rumor. I have not seen any document and I must say that the Special Anticorruption Prosecutor's Office is the most controlled institution in the country. It is unthinkable to make changes to the justice reform while the reform is still ongoing.

Vetting is not over yet. Institutions are still unconsolidated. SPAK also needs two prosecutors. Before going there, an analysis should be done. But, this is in the context of rumors, because I have not seen the document yet. So I have no attitude," he underlined.
