Elbasan Murder, President Blames Police for Being Partial

President of the Republic, Ilir Meta has held Wednesday responsible State Police and Prosecution for the assassination of Pjerin Xhuvani, accusing the law enforcement institutions of being partial and allowing certain people roam armed in broad daylight.

In the Head of State’s opinion, the situation in Albania has become critical and Elbasan has turned into one of the most problematic cities, although it has been a center of knowledge, culture and civilisation.

Nevertheless, President Meta expressed his condolences to the family of Xhuvani and hoped for the as fast as possible recovery of the injured: Emiljano Prenga 39-years-old, Pavlo Vuksani 50-years-old, Eltjon Bodinaku 32-years-old and Xhensila Sota 27-years-old.

“The situation is very critical, it is enough to see how many crimes have been committed in the last four days.

Unfortunately, Elbasan of knowledge, culture, citizenship has become one of the problematic cities.

This situation comes as a result of the police and the prosecution being one-sided and this is more than obvious because certain people walk armed.

I express my condolences to the family of the victim and hope for the speedy recovery of the injured”, stated President of Albania.
