Elbasan police have arrested a 35-year-old woman, who is accused of providing assistance to foreign nationals for illegal border crossing, in exchange for profit. 

According to the blue uniforms, the young woman was caught in Elbasan transporting 5 Syrian citizens with her vehicle, for a benefit of EUR 200 per person.

"Elbasan Police arrests in flagrante delicto citizen K. B., 35 years old, resident in the village of Libonik, Korça. 

Her arrest was made after in the neighborhood 'Emin Matraxhiu', Elbasan, she was caught by the Police services transporting with her vehicle 5 Syrian citizens in exchange for EUR 200 per person. 

As material evidence, Police seized EUR 410, which is suspected to have benefited from this criminal activity and a mobile phone. 

The investigative materials were submitted to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Elbasan, for the criminal offense 'Assistance in illegal border crossing," announced the Police.
