The elderly man, Halil Basha, who was attacked a few days ago by a Pitbull dog, which was abandoned by the owner, died in the Durrës hospital.

The 84-year-old man was injured by the dog on his head and body and unfortunately could not survive the serious injuries he received.

The serious event happened in the afternoon of November 2 in one of the alleys of the neighborhood no. 13 of the coastal city, where the old man had a house.

The owner Armand Lala, already arrested by the police, kept 3 Pitbull dogs, one white and two brown, in the rented apartment, one of which fatally attacked the 84-year-old.

After the incident, the 44-year-old man was arrested for the criminal offense "Abandoning a companion animal".
