Tirana will hold for the fifth year in a row the Tirana Marathon this Sunday, where runners from many different countries of the world are registered. 

In addition to a sports race, this Sunday marathon will also be a car-free day. In order to organize and conduct the largest sports activity that takes place in our country, a plan of measures has been drafted to organize the movement of vehicles during the marathon. 

The Municipality of Tirana informs the citizens that the restriction of the circulation of vehicles, but also of their parking, in the segments where the Tirana Marathon will take place. It will start on October 16, 2021, from 08:00 to 12:00, and on 17 October 2021 from 07:00 to 17:00 for the progress of the sports activity "Marathon 2021" organized by the Municipality of Tirana. 

Restriction of traffic (and parking) of vehicles will be done as follows: 

1-Restriction of vehicle traffic on October 16, 2021, from 08:00 to 12:00, for the progress of the sports activity "Marathon Fun Run" organized by the Municipality of Tirana, as follows: 

• Traffic is prohibited in the boulevard "Dëshmorët e Kombit" to the square "Skënderbej" on October 16, 2021 from 08:00 to 12:00, with the exception of emergency vehicles and the State Police. 
• Vehicle traffic will be as follows: 
a. In the streets "Lek Dukagjini", square "Mother Teresa", street "Ibrahim Rugova", street "Abdyl Frashëri" and street "Papa Gjon Pali II". 
b. At the intersection of “Abdyl Frashëri” street with “Ibrahim Rugova” street, forced directions in order to suspend the traffic in the segment of “Abdyl Frashëri” street with exit at “Dëshmorët e Kombit” blv. 
c. At the intersection of "Bajram Curri" blv with "Ibrahim Rugova" street, forced direction to the right. 
d. At the intersection of “Myslym Shyri” street with “Ibrahim Rugova” street, forced direction to the right. 
e. At the intersection of “Ismail Qemali” street with “Papa Gjon Pali II” street, forced directions in the function of the traffic suspension in the segment of “Ismail Qemali” street with exit at “Dëshmorët e Kombit” blv. 

1.1 The itinerary of the movement of urban line vehicles will be suspended along the entire boulevard "Dëshmorët e Kombit" and "Mother Teresa" square, as in all road segments that intersect with the aforementioned itinerary, as follows: 

a.Line No. 1 / A "Headquarters - Crystal - Center - Train Station - Allias" and 1 / B "Sun Hill 2 - Crystal - Center - Train Station - Allias" deviates to "Willson" Square to continue on the return road Sami Frashëri ”-“ Myslym Shyri ”-“ Ibrahim Rugova ”- blv“ Gjergj Fishta ”, while the rest of the itinerary at the intersection of the Ministry of Justice. 
b.Line No. 2 "Teg - Old Sauk - Zoo - Former Train Station" diverts to Wilson Square. 
c.Line No. 3 "Kashar-Yzberisht - Center" deviates to the street "Kavaja" at the intersection with the street "Ibrahim Rugova" (Bank of Albania) and to Cafe "Flora" - street Mine Peza - street "Durres". 
d.Line No. 4 "Center - QTU - Megatek - City Park" deviates from the square "Karl Topia" - "Zogu I" - street "Fortuzi" - street "Durres". 
e.Line No. 5 / B "Institute - Center" deviates from the square "Karl Topia" - blv "Zogu I" - street "Fortuzi" - street "Durres". 
f.Line Nr. 8 "Former Train Station - Center - New Sauk / Old Sauk / Sanatorium - Teg" deviates at the intersection "E Elbasanit" - "Ismail Qemali" - blv "Bajram Curri" - "E Elbasanit". 
g.Line Nr. 9 Student City - “Jordan Misja” street deviates at the intersection of “Elbasanit” street - “Ismail Qemali” street - “Papa Gjon Pali II” street - “Bajram Curri” blv - “Elbasanit” street and the rest of the itinerary blv "Zogu I" - street "Fortuzi" - street "Mine Peza". 
h.Line Nr. 10 / A “New Marriage - Center - Former Aviation Field” deviates to the bridge of “Elbasani” street and the rest to “Kavaja” street at the intersection with “Ibrahim Rugova” street (Bank of Albania). 
i.10 / B "Center - Mihal Grameno - Center" deviates to the bridge of the road "Elbasan". 
j.Line Nr. 12 / A “Uzina Dinamo e Re - Sharrë” deviates in return to “Kavaja” street at the intersection with “Ibrahim Rugova” street (Bank of Albania) and the rest “Zogu I” - “Fortuzi” - “Mine Peza”. 
k.12 / B "5 Maji - Sharrë" deviates in return to the street "e Kavajës" at the intersection with the street "Ibrahim Rugova" (Bank of Albania) and the rest blv "Zogu I" - street "Fortuzi" - street "Mine Peza ”- Ring - street“ 5 Maj ”. 
l.Line No. 13 "New Tirana" according to the time sense to deviate from the intersection with "Myslym Shyri" street towards "University Book" on the way back to Wilson Square. 
m.Line Nr. 14 "Unaza" to deviate to the bridge of the road of Elbasan and the bridge of the road "Sami Frashëri". 
n.Line Nr. 15 Kombinat - Kinostudio to deviate to “E Kavajës” street at the intersection with “Ibrahim Rugova” street (Bank of Albania) and the rest at the intersection with “Vangë e Vogël” to continue straight (behind TOB). 

2. Restriction of vehicle traffic on October 17, 2021 from 07:00 to 17:00 for the progress of the sports activity "Marathon 2021" organized by the Municipality of Tirana, as follows: 

• Traffic is prohibited on October 17, 2021 from 07:00 to 17:00 in the square "Mother Teresa" continuing throughout the boulevard "Dëshmorët e Kombit", street "Gjergj Filipi", street "Papa Gjon Pali II", street "Ismail Qemali", blv "Dëshmorët e Kombit", blv "Bajram Curri", intersection with the street "e Elbasanit", street "George W. Bush", street "Abdi Toptani", blv "Zog I", blv Ri ”, street“ Ded Gjo Luli ”, street“ e Durrësit ”, street“ e Kavajes ”, street“ Myslym Shyri ”, blv“ Zhan D'Ark ”from the intersection with the bridge of“ Tirana Court ”to the bridge“ Taiwan ” , blv "Bajram Curri" from the intersection with the bridge of "Tirana District Court" to "Taiwan bridge", street "Ibrahim Rugova" and street "Lek Dukagjini", with the exception of emergency vehicles and the State Police. 

• The circulation of vehicles will be done according to the movement plan attached to this ordinance as follows: 

a.In the "Middle Ring" in addition to the segment of the bridge of "Tirana District Court" to "Elbasani" Street, "Luigj Gurakuqi" Street, "Dibra" Street, "Barrikadave" Street, "Mine Peza" Street, "Kavaja" street from "technological bridge" to "21 December", "Vaso Pasha" street, "Ismail Qemali" street, from the intersection with "Vaso Pasha" street to "Sami Frashëri" street, "Abdyl Frashëri" street from the intersection with Willson Square to Vaso Pasha Street. 
b. At the intersection of "Elbasani" street and "Jean D'Ark" blv with forced directions, respectively, right and left. 
c. At the intersection of the road "e Barrikadave" with the road "e Dibra", forced directions in function of the suspension of traffic in the segment of "Unaza e Vogël" with exit at blv "Zogu I". 
d. At the intersection of blv "Zogu I" with the road "Fortuzi", forced directions in order to suspend traffic. 
e. In the road "Mine Peza", forced directions in order to suspend traffic in the segment of the road "e Durrësit". 
f. At the intersection of "21 December", forced directions in order to suspend traffic on the road segment of "Kavaja". 
g. In “Myslym Shyri” street with “Sami Frashëri” street, forced direction in function of traffic suspension in the segment of “Myslym Shyri” street at the exit with the ring road. 
h. At the intersection "Vasil Shanto", forced directions in order to suspend traffic in the segment of blv "Bajram Curri". 
i. At the intersection of “Pjetër Bogdani” street with “Vaso Pasha” street, forced directions in order to suspend the traffic in the segment of “Pjetër Bogdani” street with exit to “Ibrahim Rugova” street. 
j. At the intersection of “Abdyl Frashëri” street with “Vaso Pasha” street, forced directions in order to suspend the traffic in the segment of “Vaso Pasha” street with exit to “Ibrahim Rugova” street. 
k. At the intersection of “Adem Jashari” street, forced direction in function of the traffic suspension in the segment of the road with exit to “Ibrahim Rugova” street. 
2.1 The itinerary of the movement of vehicles on urban lines will be diverted as follows: 
a.Line No. 1 / A “Headquarters - Crystals - Center - Train Station - Allias” and 1 / B “Hill 
e Diellit 2 - Kristal - Center - Train Station - Allias "deviates to the boulevard" Bajram Curri "(near the police bridge) forcing to the right to the street" Sami Frashëri ". The rest of the line deviates from blv "Zogu I" forced direction to the left to continue to the road "Dervish Hatixhe" and the road "Barricades" in return. 
b.Line No. 2 "Teg - Old Sauk - Zoo - Former Train Station" diverts to Wilson Square. 
c.Line No. 3 "Kashar-Yzberisht-Qendër" deviates to "21 Djetori" and Karl Topia Square. 
d.Line No. 4 "Center - QTU - Megatek - City Park" deviates to Karl Topia Square. 
e.No. 5 / A “Former Combine of Autotractors - Center” deviates to the Bridge of the road of “Elbasan”. 
f.Line Nr. 5 / B "Institute - Center" deviates from the square "Karl Topia". 
g.Line Nr. 6 "Laprakë" deviates from "Zogu I" forced direction to the left to continue to "Dervish Hatixhe" and "e Barikadave" in return. 
h.Nr. 8 "Former Train Station - Center - New Sauk / Old Sauk / Sanatorium - Teg" deviates to the road "Elbasan" roundabout "Student City". 
i.Line No. 9 "Student City - Jordan Misja" deviates from "Zogu I" forced direction to the left to continue to "Dervish Hatixhe" and "Barricades" in return. 
j.Line Nr. 10 / A “New Maternity - Center - Former Aviation Field” deviates to the bridge of Elbasan road. 
k.Line Nr. 12 / A "Uzina Dinamo e Re - Sharrë" deviates from "Zogu I" forced direction to the left to continue to "Dervish Hatixhe" and "e Barikadave" in return, while the rest to "21 Dhjetori". 
l.12 / B “5 Maji - Sharrë” deviates from “Zogu I” forced direction to the left to continue to “Dervish Hatixhe” and “e Barikadave” in return, while the rest to “21 Dhjetori”. 
m.Line Nr. 13 "New Tirana" deviates to "Willson" square and the rest from "Zogu I" forced direction to the left to continue to "Dervish Hatixhe" and "Barricades" in return. 
n.Line Nr. 14 "Unaza" to deviate to the bridge of the road of Elbasan and the bridge of the road "Sami Frashëri". 
o.Line No. 15 "Kombinat - Kinostudio" to deviate to the street "e Kavaja" at the intersection with the street "Muhamet Gjolleshën" (December 21) and the rest at the intersection with "Unaza e Vogël" to continue straight (behind TOB). 

3. The circulation of ATP, Technological and Passenger Transport vehicles (except urban transport vehicles) is prohibited inside the big ring on 17 October 2021 from 07.00 -17.00.
