Gang of Tirana House Thieves Dismantled, One Arrested and One Wanted

State Police announced Saturday that they have put one person in handcuffs and have declared wanted another, while 14 cases of theft in the capital have been revealed and backed up with evidence. 

Official sources revealed that 45-year-old Agron Goxhaj, a resident of Tirana, who was previously convicted of the "premeditated murder" criminal offense, ended up behind bars, while Gezim Kau, 48, who was previously convicted on the same charge in Germany was declared wanted. 

They are suspected of using cloned keys to break into the capital's apartments. 

During the operation, various keys, aluminium equipment used to cover the keys, two mobile phones, a bayonet, a fist glove, clothing and two vehicles, which the perpetrators allegedly used during the thefts, were seized.
