Greece Opens Kapshtica, Kakavija Borders to All, Limited Number of Entries

Border crossing points (BCPs) of Kapshtica and Kakavija will be 24/7 open to all citizens who want to travel to Greece as of this Thursday, July 1, but only 400 people can pass through the first and 1.500 through the second.

On the social networks, the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs also informed that through the Qafbota BCP, only 250 people can pass from 08:00 to 16:00.

Meanwhile, a PLF, CPCR, Rapid test, vaccination certificate or certificate that the citizen has been diagnosed with Covid-19 during the last 2-9 months is required to be allowed entrance to Greece.

“Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs announces that from 1 July, the Kakavia and Kapshtica Border Crossing Points will be operational for 24 hours, for all categories of passengers.

While the Qafbota Border Point, until July 7, 2021, will function in the same way as it does today: from 08:00 to 16:00, with an entry limit of 250 people.

-PCR, Rapid test, vaccination certificate or certificate that the citizen has been diagnosed with Covid-19 (last 2-9 months).

Please be informed that the allowed number for each Border Crossing Point is as follows:

• Kakavija: 1500 people (now open 24 hours)

• Cafes: 250 people (08:00 to 16:00)

• Kapshtica: 400 people (open 24 hours)”, notified the Albanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
