Head of CEC Resigns as Country Prepares for Parliamentary Elections

The Head of Central Elections Commission (CEC), Klement Zguri resigned on Friday as country is getting ready for Parliamentary elections of April 25, 2020. His resignation came few months ahead of the end of his official mandate, which terminates on November 3.

Actually Parliament will discuss soon the new candidates for the CEC and even its structures. 

Zguri is a member of the CEC for 23 years and he was appointed as the chairman of this commission by the Democratic Party on 2017.
