Hellenic Business Association of Albania Elects New Board for 2025-2028, Re-elects Denald George Tafani for a Second Term as President
The Hellenic Business Association of Albania (HBAA) held its regular General Assembly and successfully elected its new Board of Directors for the three-year term running through 2028, reaffirming its commitment to strengthening Greek–Albanian economic cooperation and business representation in the country.
The elections were conducted with an exceptionally high participation rate of over 98% of members, reflecting strong engagement and confidence within the Association.
During the Assembly, members approved the three-year activity report (2022–2025), which highlighted key achievements, including an increase in membership from 26 to 43 companies across 18 economic sectors, enhanced institutional representation, expanded international cooperation, the organization of more than 50 business and networking events with approximately 2,400 participants, and improved services for member companies.
Following the report, the General Assembly elected, by secret ballot, the seven-member Board of Directors for the 2025–2028 term. The newly elected Board is composed as follows:
President: Mr. Denald George Tafani – PPC Albania (PPC Group)

Vice President: Mr. Ilias Katsouris – DSA “Digital System for Archiving”
General Secretary: Mr. Alexandros Kosenas – Neptun (Balfin Group)
Treasurer: Mr. Georgios Batsakis – Alumil Albania
Board Member: Ms. Evgjenia Kashuta – Titan Cement Group
Board Member: Ms. Maria Delijorgji – Përparimi
Alternate Board Member:
Mrs. Angelos Kostopoulos – Strati & Kostopoulos Law Firm
The new Board will continue under the leadership of Denald George Tafani, who begins his second consecutive term as President of the Association. During his previous mandate, the HBAA strengthened its role as a representative body for Greek enterprises in Albania, expanded its membership base, and deepened engagement with public and private stakeholders. His re-election signals continuity in strategic priorities, with a focus on investment promotion, institutional dialogue, and sustainable business growth.
Today, the Association’s member companies operate across 18 sectors of the Albanian economy, employing more than 8,000 people, with a combined annual turnover approaching €1 billion, representing approximately 3.3% of Albania’s Gross Domestic Product.
With over 20 years of presence, the Hellenic Business Association of Albania remains the only institutionally recognized body representing Greek business interests in the country, while serving as a key institutional interlocutor and a bridge of cooperation between the Greek and Albanian business communities.
