Incinerators' Affair, DP Chair Warns of Other Ministers' Arrests

In the presentation of the Democratic Party candidate, Ferdinand Saraçi, in Rogozhina, the leader of the Democrats, Lulzim Basha, also focused on the incinerators' affair, stating that other ministers will be arrested.

Basha stressed, among other things, that corruption has accompanied this country during these 30 years, but never before has there been a scandal of this magnitude. Basha levelled accusations against Prime Minister Edi Rama, calling him the main culprit.

"You are seeing in the incinerators committee how they cry when they are faced with facts that have forced them to sign the firm to steal 430 million euros from Albanians. Consciously or unconsciously, they have signed to remove the food from the mouths of children, pensioners, farmers.

The committee of incinerators proved what we have 6 years to denounce. Our cause is right. This factory that does not burn garbage, but Edi Rama's money. There has not been a scandal of this magnitude before.

Unfortunately corruption has been the companion of these 30 years but we have never seen this kind of greed before. We have been attacked these 6 years because we were telling the truth. Two ministers are behind the bars, others wait their turn. But you can not escape from the truth", said Basha.
