Incinerators Affair, Former Deputy PM Appears at SPAK

Former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj was summoned at SPAK (Special Prosecution against Corruption and Organized Crime) this Thursday, where he was accompanied by his lawyer Henrik Ligori. 

As reported, for three hours the former Minister of Finance has been in the premises of SPAK, where it is said that he is being questioned about the allegations regarding the concession for the Elbasan Incinerator, where the special prosecution has conducted several investigations. 

Among other things, it turns out that SPAK is investigating the accusations that have been brought against Ahmetaj for corruption, abuse of power and money laundering, as well as the role of Ahmetaj as the Minister of Finance in granting the concession for the Elbasan incinerator.
