Italy, Albanian Sentenced to 24 Years in Prison after Killing Ex-Wife

A court in Italy has sentenced a 44-year-old Albanian man to 24 years in prison, who a year ago killed his ex-wife, Luljeta Heshta.

Meanwhile, for the crime, the Prosecutor in the neighbouring state had requested a life sentence. Italian media report that the 44-year-old Alfred Kipe was present at the last hearing, expressing that he was very sorry for what had happened.

The 47-year-old Heshta worked as a prostitute in Milan and on February 7 was stabbed five times and then dragged away by a person dressed in black, who later turned out to be Alfred Kipe.

The crime took place in February last year, where the Albanian prostitute was stabbed to death. She received 5 wounds, three in the back and two in the leg. Luljeta, also known as Giulia, had two lives. One in Milan, where she lived, with her daughter and husband. The second on the border between Melegnano and San Giuliano, at the roundabout between Binasca and the road to Pedriano, where she operated.
