Former Speaker of Parliament, Jozefina Topalli has commented on Lulzim Basha's speech and his decision to resign. 

But for Topalli, this attitude of Lulzim Basha is, according to her, an attempt to "freeze" the function. Ironically, Jozefina Topalli writes that "he froze his position for a second time". 

Meanwhile, Lulzim Basha, after resigning, left the blue headquarters on foot and gathered the heads of the PD branches in a private meeting in a restaurant near Elbasani Street.
