Kenya Recognises Kosovo as an Independent and Sovereign State

Kenya has officially recognized Kosovo as an independent state this Wednesday, 

In an official meeting with representatives from Kosovo, Kenya has recognized Kosovo passports as valid travel documents becoming the 118th state that recognized Kosovo's independence and sovereign state.

The decision was signed by President William Ruto.

The Kosovo's president, Vjosa Osmani said that this recognition is a testament to the continued support for the right of the people of Kosovo to freedom, independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity, and at the same time it is also a recognition of the long suffering and centuries-old sacrifice of the people of Kosovo for freedom.

On behalf of the institutions and citizens of Kosovo, she expresses sincere gratitude to the President of Kenya, William Ruto, for this fair and important decision, as well as to the Kenyan institutions and citizens who supported this major diplomatic step.
