The Chief of Staff of the Presidency of Kosovo, Blerim Vela, has raised concern about the continuous and unstoppable armament of the Serbian state. 

Vela reacted to the exposure of Chinese weapons in Serbia. Vela said that the rapid militarization of Serbia is endangering peace in the region. 

"Serbia publicly exposed the Chinese FK-3 long-range anti-missile system. Serbia is the only country in Europe that has accepted and is operating such a Chinese system. Serbia is rapidly arming itself and endangering peace in our region," Vela wrote via Twitter. 

Serbia's armaments have become a concern in recent months, especially since the start of the war in Ukraine. International media revealed Serbia's secret supply of Chinese weapons through Turkish routes. 

Serbia's armament has also been intensified by Russian supplies, while Vucic is interested in buying modern Turkish "Bayraktar" drones. For this, the Serbian president had said that he had received the green light from Turkish President Erdogan. 

Meanwhile, Serbia is under pressure from the US and the EU to move clearly pro-Western after Russia's war in Ukraine. Its clear positioning has not yet taken place, so its role in the Balkans is still seen as dangerous to stability and security.
