Kosovo to Hold 'Justice March' for Ex-Leaders of KLA Facing The Hague
"March for Justice" organized to seek justice for the former Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) leaders, who are being tried in The Hague on charges of war crimes will be launched this Sunday from 14:00.
During yesterday, organizers of the event called for a mass participation of Kosovo's citizens in this march.
Gathering of citizens will first take place in "Zahir Pajaziti" square in Pristina, to then continue towards "Skënderbeu" square.
Eliza Hoxha, one of the organizers said yesterday that for these two weeks that the campaign for organization has been made, the invitations to participate have found extraordinary support.
"We feel it is our duty to thank everyone without distinction who supported us for the realization of this march. The march is just one day before the start of the judicial process, we thank the organizations that came out of the war, the families of the martyrs, the political parties, the sports fans, the youth forums of the universities, the business alliances, the municipalities of Kosovo, the mayors and all citizens without distinction", said Hoxha.
Meanwhile, the other organizer, Ismail Tasholli, said that the purpose of the march is to protect the truth of Kosovo, which according to him, is the KLA.
"As you know, we have a civic mission to protect our rights, in this case the KLA. The Liberation Army has waged a just war, we must all preserve this truth, it is the truth of Kosovo", said Tasholli, among other things.
'March for Justice' has been supported by the ruling party, Vetëvendosje Movement, as well as the Speaker of the Assembly, Glauk Konjufca.
