Megi Fino was elected this Tuesday as the new head of Tirana Municipality Council.

Her elections came after the proposal of the head of the socialists group councilors, Eridian Salianji. 

Meanwhile, during the same day, Endrit Braimllari was elected as vice chairman. The last was previouslu at the Liberation Party, but abandoned it prior to parliamentary elections and joined the Socialist Party.

He was accused as a traitor by the leader actually arrested on corruption charges, Ilir Meta.
