Rapid Intervention Forces (FNSH) employee, Xhuljo Prela was shot dead this Saturday morning in Lezha. His dead body was found on the road axis Milot-Lezha, in Gajush police informed on Saturday. Initially, it was thought that his vehicle had lost control and as a result went off the road. 

Local media reports the 26-year-old was killed with only one bullet in the chest. It is learned that he worked at FNSH and had started his Bachelor studies at the Security Academy to get the rank of officer. 

A special investigative group has been set up to fully investigate this murder.

"On 05.12.2020, around 02:20, a call came that on the Milot-Lezha road axis, in Gajush, a vehicle lost control and went off the road. 

The Police services immediately went and found in the vehicle type "Volkwagen" the citizen Xh.P., 26 years old, a police officer of FNSH Shkodra, who had lost his life. 

From the preliminary actions, he is suspected to have lost his life from the use of a firearm. 

To investigate the event, a special investigative group was set up with the best experts of the Criminal Police from the Criminal Police Department and the Lezha Local Police Directorate under the direction of the Prosecution, where intensive work continues to clarify the circumstances of the event, in order to identify and capture perpetrators.

The services of the Local Police Directorate of Lezha, supported by FNSH Shkodra and special forces RENEA, have set up checkpoints and are controlling the area to escort persons suspected as perpetrators of the event or who may have knowledge of the event," declared the Police.
