"Economic growth continues with high pace" This is what the Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj said in the Assembly, while today the report of the Bank of Albania for 2021 is being discussed. 

During his speech, Ahmetaj said that the economy recovered with rapid steps in 2021 and that this growth continues. According to him, thanks to government support packages, the hole caused during the crisis was filled. 

"The economy recovered with rapid steps in 2021. Growth in 2021 is the largest in the region and I want to say for you and the citizens, caring for reforms and packages, made it possible to be a galloping year of growth filling the the whole pit of 2020. It is confirmed by a scan of the BoA for the economy. Unemployment has dropped to 11.3%. none of the consumer goods except fuel has declined. All major consumer goods are on the rise. All of these are to establish a true rapport with what is happening. We have managed with our policies to fill that hole that was created by the three crises.
