Eduard Seitaj will be the Chief of Cabinet of the President, Bajram Begaj. Earlier this day, the former chief of cabinet Edmond Panariti, resigned. Seitaj worked as Secretary General of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure when it was headed by Edmond Haxhinasto. 

In a post on social networks, Panariti writes: "After a year and a half as Director of the Cabinet of President Meta, the task is passed to the successor. Thank you President Meta."

On July 24, President Bajram Begaj officially took office and was sworn in as the new head of the Albanian state.
