New Kukesi Stadium Brings together Rama, Duka
The new stadium "Kukësi Arena" has brought together Prime Minister Edi Rama and the head of the Albanian Football Association (AFA), Armand Duka.
This is the first time the duo meet publicly together since the elections for new head of AFA caused many debates in distance between Mayor of Tirana Erion Veliaj and Duka, and it was claimed that the ruling majority was determined to remove the latter after 4 mandates as AFA President.
The investment in the new house of the club of Kukës was 50% to 50% of the Albanian government and the AFA and this has made both Rama and Duka to be present at the inauguration. Along with Rama, his youngest son Zaho was also present. "Kukësi Arena" is the newest plant that is added to Albanian football, a stadium with a capacity of 6200 seats, which meets all UEFA criteria.
