New Parliamentary Session, 4 New Committees Created, One Disolved
New significant changes will marks the beginning of the new Parliamentary Session this September.
Albaniandailynews.com learned that the working group for the Parliamentary Committees decided to create three new permanent committees.
Those are the committees for Energy; Committee for Infrastructure, Environment and Digitalization and the Committee for Agriculture.
Meanwhile, the Committee on Productive Activity, Trade and Environment under the leadership of Arben Pëllumbi has been dissolved.
The 11th Committee will be the one “On Deepening Reforms for Good Governance, the Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption for Albania 2030 in the European Union”, led by Fatmir Xhafaj and will be permanent, including members of the opposition.
Media sources have reported that 7 of these committees will be led by the Socialist Party or otherwise the majority, and 4 others will remain in the hands of the opposition.
