"Musine Kokalari" school in Kombinat is the next school, which will host pupils of elementary school in bigger and more modern conditions and spaces this new educational year. 

In addition to the capacity, which will increase by over 50% of the children studying in this school, the new building will also offer larger classes, as well as laboratories and new sports facilities. 

The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, was at this school today to see the progress of the works. 

"Most people are on vacation, but for us it is a big advantage because there is less traffic, less movement and we can work more quietly. For all the children of "Musine Kokalari", they will not only return to a better school, but also to a bigger school, to a school that increases by 50% of the area and potentially can increase by 50% of students, especially when the new Neighborhood in Kombinat is finished, also due to the fact that the natural development of Tirana is going to segments such as "Dritan Hoxha" street, "Elbasan Street", and as long as the Fifth Ring Road is now the most major construction project in Tirana, the chances are that we have made the right decision," stated Veliaj. 

The Mayor also said that thanks to the help from the EU and UNDP, the works in this school are of high standards, as in any new school built in the capital.
